Town Youth Bureau INTERFACE back-to-school drive

On July 23, supervisor Dan Panico announced that the Town of Brookhaven Youth Bureau will hold the INTERFACE Back-to-School Drive from July 29 through Aug. 23. The drive is for students from kindergarten to grade 12. Donations of pens, pencils, calculators, binders, rulers, looseleaf paper, backpacks, crayons, notebooks, glue, book covers and gift cards will be accepted. Donations will be accepted at the following drop-off locations.

  • Modular Devices, 1 Roned Road, Shirley
  • All For You Hair Salon, 161-1 Long Island Avenue, Holtsville
  • College 101 Resource Center, 290 Main Street, East Setauket
  • Coram Fire Department 303 Middle Country Road, Coram
  • Incorporated Village of Lake Grove, 980 Hawkins Avenue, Lake Grove
  • Brookhaven Town Hall, One Independence Hill, Farmingville
  • Brookhaven Town Highway Department, 1140 Old Town Road, Coram
  • Brookhaven Town Parks and Recreation Department, 286 Hawkins Road, Centereach
  • Brookhaven Town Vehicle Control 550 North Ocean Avenue, Patchogue
  • Rose Caracappa Senior Center, 739 Route 25A, Mount Sinai

The INTERFACE program is a partnership between individuals, good corporate neighbors and the Town of Brookhaven in a common effort to provide help to Brookhaven’s less fortunate residents. It provides goods and services to those in need and addresses local social issues. There are approximately 150 corporations, not-for-profit agencies and community and fraternal organizations that make up INTERFACE.
